No, I am not crazy. Most people want to kill their moss, however, in my garden railway I plant mosses and want to encourage their growth as ground cover. I, at the same time, want to discourage weeds and grass in the flower beds. Hence, I would like to find a good moss fertilizer to encourage the moss to take over everything else. Of course, the local garden centers think that I am crazy...however, they are the ones selling mosses. Bill the iconoclastMMR 93

Replies to a similar query posted in May, 1998, suggested using stale beer or whole milk. Bob Gibney suggested a solution of 1 part buttermilk to 8 parts water. Don't know whether any of that would kill weeds as well. Yours,Dave
