With AC2002 switched onto the receiving track, and AC2003 crewed on the departure track, Team Aristo is ready to deliver a consist of products you've asked for.

2002 was a year of change lead by our award winning SD-45. We're proud of the new standard bearer of our line, and it's Kalmbach Readers Award for a G Gauge Diesel.

This one locomotive brought together a host of innovations that made G Gauge more fun for you. How? By giving you:

• The most accurately detailed mold-making process ever utilized in G Gauge diesels, resulting in super scale fidelity to the prototype.

• A plug & play electronics system to ease TE and sound card installation, constant voltage lighting, battery / track power switch and built in MU connections to maximize power sharing between locos, or make trailing car battery power as easy as can be.

• Our patented smoke unit. With a bigger fluid reservoir, a fan to maximize output, low drain power requirements and auto-cutoff for maximum safety, this unit delivers realism and reliability.

• Aristo-Craft's patented all axle drive unit, with:
  • "Sure Mesh" gears that are three times the size of those used by the competition,

  • Articulated axles with side-to-side and vertical play allowing the unit to reliably negotiate uneven track work. A needed advantage in outdoor operations.

  • The reliable torque of Mabuchi motors.

  • 24 ball bearing sets in each locomotive generate smooth acceleration, unparalleled running capability, long life and better track-power pickup. These units deliver maximum pulling power at the lowest possible power draw.

  • Tapered axles allowing press-fit wheels for secure operation.

  • Outstanding tracking, to easily traverse switches.
